Arts Education Graduation Requirement
In North Carolina, high school students are required to complete one credit in the arts to graduate, effective for students entering grade 9 for the first time in the 2025-2026 school year. This requirement can be fulfilled through courses in visual arts, music, dance, or theater, and aims to ensure students develop creative and critical thinking skills, as well as an appreciation for the arts. This requirement is established by Session Law 2021-104.
Computer Science Graduation Requirement
